The short version
Betsy is for friendly predictions between people who know each other. No money, no wagering, no prizes — just points and bragging rights. Be kind to the people you bet with.
Zero tolerance
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Don't post anything hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or designed to humiliate someone. Don't impersonate anyone. Don't post other people's private information.
Reporting and moderation
You can report any bet from inside the app, and report & block any user from their profile. We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms, and remove the accounts of people who post it.
Your account
You're responsible for what you post and for keeping your login secure. You must be 13 or older to use Betsy. You can delete your account and all its data at any time from your profile.
The bets themselves
Bets are opinions between friends, not statements of fact, and Betsy doesn't verify outcomes — the person who created a bet decides how it resolved. Points have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, or exchanged for anything.
